As part of our journey as followers of Christ, we believe that it is important to study scripture and grow\u00a0in our understanding of the life, mission, and teachings of Jesus Christ. Therefore, along with worship, a primary emphasis at Happy Corner involves teaching opportunities for all ages.<\/p>\n
This includes Sunday morning classes, mid-week small groups, and seasonal elective Bible\/book studies. The follow\u00a0is a listing and guide of what is currently being offered at Happy Corner.<\/p>\n

KIDS Club:<\/strong>\u00a0 During the fall, winter, and spring, we have a children\u2019s program on Wednesday night called \u201cKids In Divine Service\u201d or KIDS Club for short. It is for children age 3 to 9th<\/sup> grade. We study the Bible, participate in service projects, collect offerings for mission outreach, and grow together in community. This group meets from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on Wednesday nights.<\/p>\n Discovery Class<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Discovery class is made up of a variety of ages and meets on Sunday mornings from\u00a09:30 -10:20 AM. The Discovery class offers a welcoming blend of scripture, book study, and discussion. Past studies\u00a0include books like \u201cThe Shack\u201d by William Young.<\/p>\n Koinonia & Happy Classes<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 These groups are both made up of older adults and meet on Sunday mornings between\u00a09:30 \u2013 10:20 AM. The classes offer study from the \u201cA Guide to Biblical Studies\u201d curriculum published by Brethren Press\u00a0which is a quarterly publication and provides a more traditional approach to Bible Study that involves group\u00a0scripture reading, discussion, and fellowship.<\/p>\n Youth Group:<\/strong>\u00a0 In the fall, winter, and spring, we have a youth program that meets from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on Wednesday nights. In the summer, the youth program focuses on conferences, service learning and mission trips.<\/p>\n Welcome Class<\/strong>\u2013 As needed, we offer a welcome class for new visitors.\u00a0The goal of the Welcome Class is to allow our pastors the opportunity to share information about Happy Corner\u00a0Church of the Brethren. This class explores our denominational history, theology, vision, and ministries of the church.<\/p>\n Women\u2019s Fellowship<\/strong>: Women\u2019s Fellowship is for women of all ages seeking to grow in faith.\u00a0 This group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
